"Come Clean"

~Time to 'come clean'- even this feels like too much!!!~

I'm not one that likes to be miss out on the fun. So, I have decided to follow the lead and join Joyce at A Perfect Beginning and Patricia at PVE showing you my purse and it's contents.

Right now I am using a Longchamp LePlige tote. Inside is my very worn, very loved Coach day timer/journal/sketchbook, a business card holder {special gift from a friend}, tissues {I did remove a couple of loose tissues...}, cell phone, glasses, wallet, loose coins, and today it was Scott Barnes lip gloss~ but that changes daily, some pens for when inspiration strikes and a CD that I bring from the car-inside and then back out to the car. Not very interesting. I do try to keep it pared down, it's very frustrating when the phone is ringing and you can't locate it!

Why not come clean and show your purse and it's contents... now, where are my keys?

P.S.- That day timer can hold a lot of clutter...

  1. Love the bag and the color red. That is the epitome of chic, and all the parisienne's carry one like that. I love that they are lightweight.
Looks like a well loved collection!

  2. Aww thanks P~ it's a great bag and a damp cloth will take up any little spots. The journal and card holder are at least... 20 years young.

  5. Deb, I love those pens, I use them and another kind all the time!! After seeing yours and Patricia's purse, I think I need to clean my again! lol... I know the feeling of having the the phone ringing in the bottom of the purse and I can't find it or in the car seat, under the seat on the kitchen counter etc... I usually have it on vibrate so all I hear is hummmmm... buzzz... The reason for vibrate is, if I'm with someone I want to give them my time and not hear my phone, but most times I forget to switch the volume!!
Have a golden day my friend! xoxo

  6. Hi Debra and thanks for stopping by my blog for Toby Tuesday and for your kind words! All of our 3 dogs are Friends of Pets rescues.

I have read your comments on Joyce's blog many times. Your purse tour was fun. That Chant CD sounds peaceful. I did a purse tour in my blog a few days ago if you'd like, you can check back!

  7. A very good thought Joyce~ I never take my phone into a store or public place. No call can't wait a few minutes. Afterall, what did we do before cells. Exception to this rule-Mothers with children.

  10. I am really so impressed with both you and sweet Patricia. So neat, so organized. As I told her, the only constants in my bag are Laura Mercier lipstick in Garnet, my iPod and dog biscuits. And often, a book.

  12. Pamela~ I go through my purse each day as I go out on errands and take out anything I don't need-so it does stay pretty simple. Oh yes~ biscuits-I sometimes have those too.

  13. Oh dear Debra - time for Miss Millie to have a check at the Optician's! On my first glance I thought Chants was a pack of cigarettes, & then I thought absolutely not, gorgeous Debra could not & would not be a smoker. I am such a ditz some days - of course Chants is a music CD - doh!

  16. Where are my keys? I keep my keys on a satin ribbon that I tie to the handle of my bag - and I never have to look for them!

  18. This is such a good idea! You live so simply and organized. I'm jealous! My purse usually involves a whole variety of receipts, gum wrappers and stray business cards!

  19. Soooo many purse confessions going around... I have too much in mine... it would take me an hour to put it all back... sigh!
    Glad you liked lunch today!

  20. Oh, I couldn't! My purse is a source of wonder to my guy, who calls it a Mary Poppins purse. Let's just say that once I produced a jar of peanut butter when I got hungry on the bus.
