Chocolat~

Last night I watched the movie Chocolat~ for the forth or fifth time.
It always captivates me. Mother and daughter wearing those adorable red cloaks, entering the quaint French village full of hope and promise. Little did they know what was in store.

Opening a Chocolaterie during the Lenten season ?

I thought it was the perfect movie selection for this season. The time of year when some sacrifice something they truly enjoy. The Lenten season.
Some give up shopping. Some might decide to quit a bad habit. Some give up... sugar!
Yes...... this was the ideal movie to see at this particular time.

    That is a fun movie to watch. I like the lovely Juliette Binoche, and the storyline. You are a strong woman to look and all that chocolate, and not run to the kitchen. Good for you!

    Don't you just love that movie...I can smell the chocolate when I watch it. Great actors and engaging story line...it's a keeper!

    I must pull out that movie and watch it again. It is such a sensually, beautiful movie - I swear I can smell chocolate whenever I watch it.

    Funny someone else mentioned smelling the chocolate!! Must be universal - The creators surely hit the mark with this one.
