Most mornings call for the big guns!
~*~
But... when I am alone for a few days, this is how I like to make my coffee.
~The 1-3 cup classic hand blown Chemex~
This belonged to my Mom and Dad and I remember vividly the day that I begged them for it!
They were no longer using it regularly and I had my eye on it for months.
This little beauty seriously- makes the best cup of coffee ever.
Mine is small-it's the smallest size made~ but it is huge on performance. The coffee is amazing.
...and wallah...
Debra, my day starts with 2 espressos from my handy dandy Nespresso machine. I recently switched from mugs to our finest china. It was one of my new years resolutions. It is a great way to start the day. I am intrigued by your Chemex. It is nice to have these special things in our lives...we deserve it!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
Jeanne:)
My dear husband makes the best coffee, and brings it to me in a mug!
ReplyDeleteMind you not every morning, but it is such a great way to start the day.
I like my coffee home brewed!

My husband makes the world's best coffee.
ReplyDeleteI am a lucky girl.
Love your coffee maker from your parents - how special! Mine is home-brewed Starbucks in a mug. Have a great weekend, Debra! xo
ReplyDeleteNot a good post to read when I am foolishly trying to give up coffee. Lovely blog, I came here through Carmie xoxox
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, weekend greetings to you!
ReplyDeleteLove your coffee post this glass coffee maker looks intriguing, I have never seen it before! My husband and I are coffee drinkers in the morning and tea drinkers in the afternoon...
We have family breakfast every morning and we make coffee right there next to our big table in the dining room/breakfast room/everything else fun room.
We love European coffee, hot, strong with lot's of milk(for me)in lovely mugs, cups, what ever I use to serve it in at the moment...
We use a coffee maker or sometimes a French press.
Nothing wakes me up better in the morning!

Coffee - black. I have been using the same coffee pot for 14 years. The Chemex looks interesting! I will have to chech that out. Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteCoffee x 2 from the Plunger in my fave Royal Albert mug. Mild Columbian from my Company's IT Manager (an expat in Sydney who imports it & kindly sells it to me at cost). Your Chemex looks like something a science tragic like myself would find VERY interesting Debra! Lovely to see Jane from Melbourne has found you - you're well on your way to being made an honorary Aussie chick!
