Attic 24

Lucy over at Attic24 is a wife, busy Mum of three, and she totally inspires me.
I have wanted to learn granny squares forever, and have not been able to master it.
Today I am having a granny square lesson! I am very excited and have made lists of all of the yarns I want to for my projects.
I plan to practice-practice-practice.

When I'm ready to start my first big project, I know it will be a bright, cheery afghan-lots of greens and bright pinks.

    I know that after you get the hang of this, you will be a Great Granny Square maker! I did hop over to the Attic 24 and wow. I knew she had to be out of this world.

    I am positive you will achieve your goal, while having fun. I'd love to see the color combinations of your finished product. Pink and green are such happy colors. Enjoy!

    Looking forward to following your progress! My sister, Susan, is a master knitter and crocheter like our mom. The gene pool for knitting, crocheting, sewing and like crafts ended there, however. Lovely colors, Deb. Cheered me up! xoxo

    Wonderful Debra...love the colours! Maybe something to do whilst sitting in a chair on the beach this summer. You could choose the colours of sea glass as a reminder of a summers day on the beach in Maine:)

    Oh these make me smile so much. Nana taught me how to crochet when I was small. I love these squares. I can't wait to see yours!

    On the sugar note: I have to confess I fell off big time at knitting yesterday with a small molten lave cake right out of the oven. I could not say no. Terrible. Getting back on today. And praying. Sigh.

    oh the BEST of luck to you with the Hooking, I'm sure if you want to do it badly enough (like I did when I first taught myself) then you will get there...I can tell you're going to love it!
