So much has changed. Our earth is so beautiful how could we have covered her up with our trash? We have come a long way since that first Earth Day. And still...there is much more to accomplish.

Can you believe people used to throw trash right out their car windows? Boggles the mind. Happy Earth Day to you!
ReplyDeleteI will remember this Earth day, off to the Doc with one son, he took a tumble on the court and fractured his "talus" bone. Never dull on my turf. Thanks for entering the Mothering Mother give-away.

I am going to clean out a closet, and give the clothes away to a couple of charities. That's one way we like to recycle.
ReplyDeleteI will get outside and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air! Beautiful photo and sentiments....as always over here! :)
ReplyDeleteHello Dear Friend.... Happy Champagne Thursday!! Joan and I are just headed down the street to Bradley House for our Thursday festivities.... xoxo
ReplyDeleteI actually purchase some Jack in the pulpit plants today. I thought mine gotten eaten, only to come home with my new plants to see the others popping their heads, slowly! I love these flowers so I'm OK to add two more to the family. The 2 plants I started with have since multiplied. xo
ReplyDeleteOh, that's so cool. I remember I was in high school, that's the first Earth Day I remember, and we went to the river, which was cool. I try to be respectful of the earth every day, some days I succeed more than others! Lovely blog you have here, I'm your newest follower!
