Deb, I like Martina McBride! Double bonus because she has Kelly's middle name. LOL... When Kelly came home we didn't want to change her name so I gave her a middle name (after my dad Martin) and sent out doggy announcements. LOL... I am sorry your little wing was broken,, but maybe you can still use her in the garden and stick the broken piece in the ground. Great post my friend! xoxo
That's a cute story about your Kelly! This special angel... the picture doesn't do her justice- she is about 14"- 16" round and is very heavy. She broke her wing being stored in the basement too long... great idea for the garden though- thank you.
Pretty angel - I just discovered your blog through PVE Design. I love your creative art of lifescapes! I'm not an artist in drawing, but I love PVE's illustrations and I think yours are very beautiful as well!
I started this blog to share my illustrations and my love of home. It soon became the place where I could document my favorite things. I love home, family, cooking... but most of all I love a day when I sit at my drawing table for hours and hours. Thank you for visiting and your comments, each one is greatly appreciated.

Oh, glue her back!
ReplyDeletea wing and a prayer, and perhaps a dab of glue will do.
ReplyDeletePamela and PVE~ I suspect I should take my angel under my wing and head for the hardware store for the proper remedy.
