~Mom~
It doesn't seem like it's been twenty years since we lost you. So young, so beautiful-the heartbeat of our family.
Erin and Jack will never know the amazing woman you were. Jonathan has made you proud and you will forever be in his dear heart. You never got to meet his lovely wife Amanda. Oh what a loving Great Grandmother you would have been.
A day doesn't go by that I don't want to tell you a little secret or share some little tale.
I love you more today knowing the unconditional love a Mother has for her children.
Rest easy Mom~
We love you.
What a beautiful tribute to your Mother. I'm sure she is looking down on you from the heavens above with a big smile. Have a peaceful Sunday.
ReplyDeleteA lovely tribute. She looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHow proud she would be of her daughter and her family, her art, her life
(and her blog too!)

You ladies touch my heart this morning.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful my friend! I can see where you (and Erin) get your beauty. Your mom is very proud of you! Your learned your lesson well my friend, you are a wondeful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Your mom is beaming prouding telling all the angels up above "that's my daughter".
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs.... xoxo
So lovely a tribute, Debra, I really don't know how I will bear it when the time comes I lose my Mother
ReplyDeleteA wonderful tribute to a beautiful Mom from a lovely daughter. You said it all.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words and thoughts for a very special lady....she would no doubt be very proud of you and all you are.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with us.
Thinking of you dear Debra. It was also 20 years last Sept. since I lost my beautiful Mum & the boys adored Nannie. Like your precious Mother, at only 64 we lost her far too early. Maybe they are somewhere together discussing about this blogging thing that's brought their 2 daughters together across the oceans!
ReplyDeleteLove your friend Millie ^_^
Oh, now I understand where your charming looks comes from!! What a beautiful mother. I talk to my mum on a regular base, and I don't want to think about not being able to anymore.
ReplyDeleteLovely tribute! But you know honey....from what I've been reading here (the person you seem te be), you're making your mum very proud as well. Jack and Erin just need to look at you and they'll have an impression of how their G-Grandmother would have been. Whatever you do, she'll be there (in your little gestures) and you sure do look like her btw. XXX, C.
you know debra, i sat with your posting up for quite a while yesterday ... trying to put together the right words ... and all the while i was so taken by the softness of your mother's photo ... and then how your eyes shine and smile, just like hers! everyone you love will always be touched by her, through you ... always ...
ReplyDeletea lovely tribute to your mom ~
