~My Mother- Mary Carmel~
This is a picture of my Mom taken on her Sweet Sixteen~ Isn't she lovely?
My Mom passed away very tragically six weeks after being diagnosed with cancer-at the young age of 64.
A day doesn't go by that I don't talk to her, miss her and realize the unconditional love that she had for me, my Sister, my Father, her two sons-in-law and her Grandson and Granddaughter.
Happy Mother's Day Mom

And to my beloved Mother-in-law Jeannie- who is the very best Mom ever.
This lady exudes a fabulous sense of style and grace.
She along with my Father-in-law have raised three terrific, successful and lovely children. Luckily I am married to one of them
I love you and wish you the best Mother's Day. I wish I could be with you today for a long chat.
Thanks for sharing the lovely Sweet 16 picture of your Mom, how tragic her life was cut short. Cancer is evil. It took away my husband Ron's late wife, Kathy, at age 39, leaving behind her 5 children. I am glad for your good memories of your Mom.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you, Debra, and to your Mother-in-Law! xoxo
Oh such a beautiful tribute post dear Debra. My darling Mum was lost to us at the same age as your Mom. We have had 20 long years without her guiding light in our lives & it's on days like this when the wonderful memories are the strongest. Enjoy your special day with all your Darlings. I'm sure you'll see Mary Carmel in your dreams, just as I do with my Mum.
