I have mentioned my fondness for this book before. But it seems especially appropriate at this time of year.
It's a whimsical tale of a pair of long John's and a lacy nightgown. Red Flannel is in love with Rosebud.
He is rather ordinary and clumsy and Rosebud is far too elegant to give him the time of day.
This is a sweet tale for all ages.

Sweet! Sounds like an Alaskan love story.... yesterday I was doing chores around the house and happened upon an Ice Road Truckers marathon on the History Channel... do you know I spent the entire DAY watching that show. I think I watched the entire series on one day. What an amazing job! And there was a Rosebud of a trucker, Lisa. Oh my gosh I was impressed with this tiny little girl driving heaving loads on curvy icy roads.... made me feel like such a wimp because it had snowed and I did not move my car all weekend... xoxoxo
