Another view~ Ponte Vecchio

~Ponte Vecchio~ Florence, Italy~

This is another little glimpse of the painting I did for my friend, commemorating our trip.

What else can you say about this special place? Jewelry galore! At every turn there is a shop window over-flowing with gold and gems.

The view of the Arno and the distant hillside is breathtaking.

I would love to set up a small table and illustrate the view and characters surrounding.

  2. I could picture you on the ponte Vecchio with a little table set up, selling your sweet lifescapes. Couples on their honeymoon, ladies, students and travelers would all gather round to take a memory home.

  5. Deb, perhaps one day this dream can come true to set a small table and illustrate the view and characters. Wouldn't it be fun to spend the summer there? I enjoyed another peak view of your special gift to a special friend. Thank you for sharing! Have a golden weekend my sweet friend! xoxo

  6. I too remember a special visit to Florence after I graduated from college. The very first thing that happened when my mother and I arrived exhausted from a long flight at our hotel was a waiter came to us with delicioso cappucinos in hand as a welcome. Never forgot that and that was 30+ years ago. xoxo
