This little Frenzy Ocean Kayak was just perfect for me. It's lightweight, very solid and stable, and best of all... no hidden spaces for eight-legged critters to hide. I loved it!
This was Saturday dinner.
While visiting this sweet wine shop- I found this wine and had to add it to my collection of great labels {don't we all sometimes choose wines just for the label?}
Our friends supplied me with my very own chemical toilet. No outhouse and not one spider sighting.
I was surprised that so many of you also fear the eight-legged critters. I know that they are good for ridding us of other nasty bugs... but I still don't like them and was so happy that all of those guys kept their distance.
Hurricane Bill supplied us with some huge swells Sunday afternoon. I will post a few photos when I get them sorted out. Considering the forecast was for high winds and rain- we lucked out and had sunny, very warm and humid days.
It was a great weekend. I hope that your weekend was as nice as this one in the northeast.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time with good food,drink and friends. Glad the critters stayed away from you.
ReplyDeleteSo spooky, your comment about the wine label. You'll see why later this week & go 'OMG we are sooo catching the same waves.!'
ReplyDeleteMillie ^_^
I am glad that you had an enjoyable weekend. Looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGiven the spread, I think I would have been able to cope with spiders sitting on my tuffet.
Just maybe.

I'm glad that you had a lovely weekend despite Bill and I nominated you for an award on my blog today.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful weekend and double wonderful with no uninvited guests (spiders and Bill) sounds great to me. I too get a bottle of wine or two because of the label. Have a golden day my friend! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou caught me Debra, I do often choose wines for the cool labels and of course often the wine is very good! Your menu looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteI woke up late this morning so I am late to today's party! Anyway when I saw the news of the Maine swells on GMA I felt worry for you and then sadness at the little child who was swept out to sea.... Glad your weekend went well, the Sea Glass wine was a real score!! Glad the 8-legged critters knew to keep away from you!! All the food looked scrumptious!!
ReplyDeleteHhmmm....lobster, wine and friends....wonderful wonderful!! (You made me laugh with that chemical toilet info).
